Dr Finkel commenced as Australia’s Chief Scientist on 25 January 2016. He is Australia’s eighth Chief Scientist. Prior to his appointment, he served as President of the Australian Academy of Technology and Engineering (ATSE), and for eight years as Chancellor of Monash University.

Koji Omata joined J-Power Latrobe Valley Pty Ltd (JPLV) in 2019 as a managing director, chief technical officer for the hydrogen production from Victorian brown coal project at Loy Yang. 

Peta joined the University of Queensland in April, 2016. As Chair in Sustainable Energy Futures, Peta is Program Director for the Master of Sustainable Energy. Peta is well known for her expertise in the energy field, stakeholder engagement and technology assessment. 

Dr. Patrick Hartley is the research director of the Oil, Gas and Fuels research program within CSIRO's Energy Business Unit. The program comprises 85 research staff and students working on applied research projects which span the energy resources value chain....

Seiji Hongo joined J-Power Latrobe Valley Pty Ltd (JPLV) in 2018 as a director, chief operating officer for the management of the hydrogen production and refining project at Loy Yang. 

Michael Brear is the Director of the Melbourne Energy Institute at the University of Melbourne. He guides the Institute’s research on the technical, economic, environmental and social impacts of energy systems.

Gabrielle has over 20 years’ experience across technical, commercial, financial, IT and regulatory aspects of sustainable energy in the public and private sector both locally and internationally.

Brad joined the Global CCS Institute as CEO in August 2011, bringing extensive knowledge and experience on Australian and international energy and climate policy issues.

Troy has worked in the automotive industry for almost 20 years and has been with Toyota Australia for over 10 years, working within Quality Engineering, Product Planning and now Advanced Planning departments.
