HYDROGEN FORUM
- A pathway to environmental & regional prosperity -
Where to for Gippsland?
Hydrogen has been described as the fuel for the future, having no emissions other than water. It has a high energy density and is seen as an essential pathway to a low emissions and sustainable future.
What does it mean however for the people of Latrobe Valley and the wider Gippsland?
This seminar will bring together researchers, industry and community with an interest in understanding the pathways to hydrogen production - carbon and electrolysis based - and its uses and applications. We will showcase some of the research into new technologies and the social, economic and employment opportunities that will come from hydrogen. Business, community organisations and individuals will have the chance to have their questions answered at this important event.
An exciting line-up of speakers including Dr Alan Finkel, Australia's Chief Scientist, and distinguished leaders in the field from CSIRO, Swinburne, J-Power Latrobe Valley, Global CCS Institute, University of Qld, University of Melbourne, Toyota Motor Corporation Australia and CO2CRC will discuss some of the latest advances in research into new technologies and products that will come from hydrogen.
Registrations are now closed for this event. If you are interested in joining a waitlist, please email Kirstyn Krausz at kkrausz@acinnovation.com.au
